Mass Shelter Workshop

From June 4^th to 6^th, 2019, Ljubljana City Hall hosted Mass Shelter Workshop, which is one of the activities within the Project Full Scale Civil Protection Exercise #SIQUAKE2020. Event was organized by consortium partners City of Ljubljana and German Federal Agency for Technical Relief – THW (Technisches Hilfswerk). Workshop attendees came from broad range of organizations included in providing temporary mass shelters from Slovenia and other partner countries – Italy, Germany and Croatia. Attendees have learned about recommendations for managing mass shelters (MaSC project) and got insight in practical experiences of foreign experts from mass shelters provision field in case of 2017 wildfires in Portugal and 2016 earthquake in Italy.
